As an e-commerce and local marketplace platform, LokalMart experienced first-hand the massive shortage of skilled frontend developers, designers, and marketing professionals. At the same time, we saw millions of students in tier-2/tier-3 cities eager to learn but held back by expensive bootcamp fee structures.
We decided to launch LokalMart Academy — a 100% free learning framework where we invest in student education. By providing top-quality courses and project support, we create a skilled local talent pipeline for ourselves and our partner network.

LokalMart Academy starts as a small internal coding cohort program for 50 local developers in Uttar Pradesh. We design our first curriculum in responsive web designing.
We launch the online learning portal academy.lokalmart.in, expanding courses to include Prompt Engineering, Gemini AI, and UI/UX Design. Enrollment crosses 5,000 students.
Today, we support 15,000+ active students. We partner with over 15 companies to provide direct placements and internships. We are currently applying for Google Workspace for Education eligibility to provide enterprise-grade workspace tools to our student community.
